Seamless Summer Food Program Announces Locations and Times for Summer 2025

As the school year draws to a close, the Seamless Summer Food Program is gearing up to make sure youth throughout Del Norte still have access to free nutritious meals over summer vacation. The program, which is a collaboration between the Del Norte and Tribal Lands Community Food Council, Wild Rivers Community Foundation, Del Norte Unified School District, and Champions for Change, will provide breakfast and lunch for kids and teens ages 0-18 six days out of the week over a three month period.

This year’s Seamless Summer Food Program, active from June 16 to August 15th, will provide food on Mondays and Wednesdays at multiple locations across Del Norte. On Mondays families will receive two breakfast meals and two lunch meals per child for Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesdays families will receive four breakfast meals and four lunch meals per child for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Children can collect meals without adults, but adults cannot collect meals without children present. No ID is necessary to collect the meals, and you don’t have to live in Del Norte or be registered as a student in the school district, you just have to be 18 years old or younger. Meals will be available from 11 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Wednesdays at the following locations:
